FAQ
Why is this show 21+ only?
This event may contain adult content/music and innuendo – for that reason, we prefer our audience to be over the age of 21+ with valid ID.
Can I wear a costume?
YES PLEASE! We heavily encourage costumes... and may be inspired to give away a prize or two! For the safety of our guests and staff, no masks or simulated weapons are allowed. This includes guns, knives, swords, hammers, bats, walking sticks, or similar. We reserve the right to refuse entry to ANYONE who we consider not within the guidelines, without needing to specify a reason.
Can I tip the performers?
Absolutely! It's how Drag Queens make a living! Our performers accept cash, or you can scan the QR code on signage around the venue to tip with Venmo, CashApp, or Credit Card.
Are Drag Shows only for LGBTQ+ people?
No way! Everyone is welcome, and we encourage those uncertain to experience our show and see what all the fanfare is about!
Where should I park?
On-street parking is available around the village. As Irvington is a small town, we suggest Uber/Lyft, or carpooling – we hear The Headless Horseman doesn't follow rideshare vehicles! Please obey any parking rules posted.
Traveling by train?
Take the MetroNorth to Irvington, and walk up Main St!
What if I show up late?
You'll be listening to the cheers and applause from outside the theater! We have a strict no-entry policy after the show has begun to avoid interruptions. Leave early, account for traffic, parking, and lines. You MUST be INSIDE and SEATED 30 minutes prior to the performance time. Once the doors close... that's it! No, we're not kidding!
What if I'm a "Karen" who complains about everything and sends salads back at restaurants?
This is NOT the show for you! We encourage fun-loving audiences who appreciate all forms of entertainment, that come to enjoy our awesome event. Leave judgements, opinions, and politics at home!
Will there be any elements of the show that may affect guests with heightened sensitivity, or photosensitive epilepsy?
Yes, this show utilizies strobe lights, loud music, the possibility of colorful language from the host, as well as sound effects like sirens, alarms, and simulated explosions or gunfire for comical purposes with some characters, as well as prop weapons. Some content by the performers may include references to current pop culture, social media, or satire about popular figures who mock or oppose LGBTQIA+ culture.
